My name is Maffrine LaConte. I am a follower of Christ and a classically trained pianist. I started setting Psalms to music using the Legacy Standard Bible® translation to help me memorize Scripture and meditate on His Word anytime and anywhere. I created this website to share my songs after others began asking for recordings. I strive to craft singable, lyrical melodies that capture the beauty and narrative of the Psalms, making their enduring truth endearing to your heart. As a homeschool mom and piano teacher, I have the joy of teaching piano, music composition, and hymn arrangement to both my own children and others. I compose duets using words from the Legacy Standard Bible® translation for us to play and sing together, helping them learn and memorize God's Word. As children are created in the image of God, they naturally possess creativity and imagination. I nurture this creativity by teaching them music composition, guiding them to find inspiration in the beauty of God's creation, and introducing them to rich harmonies from classical repertoire. Through studying music, they may behold the beauty of the ultimate Creator.
